NYC Style Expert Launches Dial Style Service

NYC Style Expert Launches Dial Style Service

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 3, 2005

New York City-based and style consultant, Bridgette Raes of Bridgette Raes Style Group, announced today a new service called Dial Style to their extensive menu of client services. The Dial Style service is aimed at giving women all over the country the opportunity to have a stylist on call at any moment to help with any fashion, style or wardrobe management question.

“Women struggle with fashion questions on a daily basis and up to this point only had their friends to turn to for advice,” says Bridgette Raes Style Group’s president, Bridgette Raes, who conceived of the service after receiving countless emails and phone calls from her current clients in need of a quick resolution to a fashion emergency. “Now they can just schedule a quick Dial Style session and get the answer they need from a trained style expert. “This service is great for our existing client base, but is a great solution for women in other parts of the country as well as women who can’t afford to work with in a more extensive manner. Besides sometimes all someone needs is a quick fashion fix.”

Dial Style works like a prepaid calling card. Time is paid for in advance and can be bought in increments of ten minutes. The cost is $ 25 for each ten minute increment. Once the time is purchased the caller books a phone appointment with Bridgette Raes. The caller is also encouraged to email their questions along with any photos is necessary ahead of time so that Bridgette can review and have her answers prepared.

Rockland Community Groups Join Together to Pay Tribute at Historic Monsey Cemetery Flag-Raising Ceremony

Rockland Community Groups Join Together to Pay Tribute at Historic Monsey Cemetery Flag-Raising Ceremony

Monsey, NY (PRWEB) October 28, 2011

Shortly after 10 o’clock on Saturday morning, November 5, a U.S. flag, which until recently flew over a hospital in Iraq, will be hoisted on a new flagpole to fly over the graves of American veterans of the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the Civil War buried at the Historic Monsey Cemetery. The cemetery, located at the corner of Maple Avenue and Saddle River Road, has been a Monsey landmark since the early 1800s. The flag and the flagpole, as well as many other improvements, are due to the efforts of Eagle Scout candidate Brian Negrin to restore and beautify the cemetery. Several community groups—Boy Scout Troop 78 of Nanuet, the Monsey/Ramapo Lions, American Legion Post 1682, and New Hope Christian Church—are joining together to witness the raising of the flag, to honor the memory of those buried there, and to recognize Mr. Negrin for his hard work and community spirit. The event is free, open to the public, and is expected to last under one hour.

Mr. Negrin, who is a member of Boy Scout Troop 78, took the initiative to clean, repair, and beautify the cemetery as the capstone project in his candidacy to become an Eagle Scout. “Scouts live by a slogan, ‘do a good turn daily,’” said Mr. Negrin’s father, Jeffrey Negrin. “The good turn is a philosophy of living, in which service to others becomes the key. Brian has exemplified this slogan in his Eagle project, by restoring the Historic Monsey Cemetery to the serene beauty it once was.” Besides erecting the new flagpole, Mr. Negrin and his family made numerous extensive repairs and improvements, including the following: cleaning the grounds; filling ruts; creating a planting bed; planting many shrubs and other plants; building a large patio; replacing a broken stone bench; installing a stone walkway; building and installing an arbor; finding and piecing together a broken headstone; and setting upright several headstones that had been knocked over and covered with earth.

The cemetery belongs to New Hope Christian Church of 57 Main Street, Monsey, and many of those buried there are among its earliest members and leaders. The True Reformed Dutch Church of West New Hempstead, as it was named for more than a century, was established in 1824 when 68 people seceded from the Brick Church of New Hempstead and established themselves as a new congregation in Monsey. The congregation’s original meeting house was on property adjacent to the cemetery, until they moved in 1869 to their current building on Main Street. After several decades of using the name Monsey Christian Reformed Church beginning in the 1950s, the congregation changed its name to New Hope Christian Church in 2000 and continues in the tradition of the Protestant Reformation today as part of the Presbyterian Church in America.

“Our church has a very long and important history in Monsey,” remarked Phillip Dennis, the church’s minister, “and it thrills me to be part of a continuing Christian witness in this place. Our cemetery is part of that witness. Buried there are people who died in the confident expectation of a future resurrection and eternal life thanks to the Lord Jesus Christ. That expectation is central to the Christian gospel, which remains certain no matter how much the landscape, the community, or the circumstances of our individual lives may change.

“We are so grateful to Brian for his initiative and hard work here,” Dennis continued. “We’re grateful to his whole family for the investment they’ve made in preserving this part of our church’s history, which is really our community’s history. The Monsey Lions have also done us a real service through the years by faithfully maintaining much of the cemetery property, and we want to thank them from the bottom of our heart too.”

Maybelle Twohie, who is a Past District Governor of the Lions and a past President of the Monsey/Ramapo Lions explained that “Our motto is ‘We serve,’ and one commitment that has meant so much to the Lions, both men and women, is to serve by caring for the Historic Monsey Cemetery.”

According to data from the Genealogical Society of Rockland County, the earliest burial at the cemetery was Peter R. VanHouten in 1808. The latest was Minnie Young in 1955. Among those buried at the cemetery are two veterans of the Revolutionary War, six of the War of 1812, and two of the Civil War. General Peter S. VanOrden (d. 1840) served during both the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.

Saturday’s ceremony will include a flag raising, short remarks about the history of the cemetery and people buried there, and the presentation of a plaque to Mr. Negrin, in appreciation of his work, by representatives of New Hope Christian Church. Complimentary hot drinks and light refreshment will be provided immediately afterward at the cemetery by members of the church.

More information about the history of the church can be found on Wikipedia under the article “Monsey Church.”

Sunday morning services follow a classic Reformed liturgy and blend both traditional and contemporary music to assist everyone to worship God from the heart. Services are held at 11 a.m. in the church’s historic 1869 sanctuary at 57 Main Street in Monsey, New York. The church is located just 1/3 mile north of state route 59 and south of Maple Avenue. RVT.com Reports Record Growth as More RV Sales Move Online

RVT.com reports that its online RV marketplace has experienced record growth since the beginning of 2011.

Sumas, Washington (PRWEB) August 10, 2011

RVT.com, North America’s leading Internet classified ad site for new and used RVs for sale, travel trailers, motor homes and campers, reports that its online RV marketplace has experienced record growth since the beginning of 2011, and expects that growth to continue throughout the peak summer RV sales season.

“RVT.com has seen a massive increase in RVs For Sale by Owner ad listings over the past several months, especially since we began offering free ads,” said Shawn Friesen, RVT.com marketing director. “RVT.com now has the most FSBO inventory of any RV classified website – 300% more than our closest competitor.”

Friesen noted that over 20,000 RV shoppers visit RVT.com daily, and the site currently has over 45,000 ad listings – of which 8,500 are FSBO RV listings, with hundreds of new listings being added every month.

In addition, with over 20,000 potential customers visiting the RVT.com ‘showroom’ daily, Friesen reported that RV Dealership participation has reached an all-time high, with over 500 Featured RVT.com Dealers posting over 37,000 RVs for Sale. He said that dealer account activations have reached an unprecedented level, and they will likely see over 200 new Dealer subscriptions this year alone.

Earlier this year, RVT.com teamed with iSocket to provide RV dealers and industry advertisers with a quick, convenient way to select an exceptionally targeted online display ad package and easily set up an ad. Advertisers can order and start premium campaigns in minutes – targeting any demographic by geography or type of RV — and buy, manage and track multiple campaigns from one page, all at no extra cost.

The company has also developed a mobile RVT.com iPhone app as well as an RVT.com iPad app that puts all the features and functionality of its industry-leading RV classifieds website directly in the hands of RV buyers, sellers and dealers. Both apps are free and available for download from iTunes.

Cell Phone Accessory Seller to Switch Online Auction Sites in Favor of Lower Fees

Cell Phone Accessory Seller to Switch Online Auction Sites in Favor of Lower Fees

Riverside, CA (PRWEB) June 5, 2007

Accessory Export, LLC a Southern California-based cell phone accessory company, today announced it will switch online auction sites, moving from eBay to less costly sites such as Amazon.com and Yahoo Store.

In 2006, Accessory Export, LLC (eBay user ID: accessoryexport) launched more than 850,000 auctions to eBay.com and from those auctions grossed over $ 2 million in sales. But this hefty sales number came with a very large eBay bill. For the year 2006, Accessory Export, LLC paid eBay nearly $ 600,000 in fees.

eBay has long based its fee structure on two components; insertion fees and final value fees. Insertion fees are based on several factors which include starting price of an auction and any selected upgrades such as a gallery picture. Final value fees are percentage based fees that are assessed based on an auction’s final selling price.

Accessory Export, LLC reports that in the cell phone accessory category on eBay, a seller can expect approximately 12 to 20 percent of auctions to end with a successful bidder. That means that 80 to 88 percent of their auctions never even get a bid. Fortunately, on these auctions, Accessory Export is not required to pay a final value fee to eBay. However, every time an auction is listed, regardless of success, eBay collects its required insertion fee.

Even though Accessory Export plans to reduce their eBay presence in favor of other online auction sites, they do not predict any decline in gross sales, they are actually expecting to see a 100 percent increase in sales this year, making their 2007 gross sales close to $ 4 million.

They plan to fuel this growth by branching into other online auction sites, such as, Amazon.com and their new website, http://www.AccessoryExportWholesale.com. These alternate marketplaces may offer slightly less visibility, but their seller friendly fee structures offer huge potential for increased profits.

Amazon’s Marketplace is catalog based and allows multiple sellers to list directly on a single product. In Accessory Export’s opinion, Amazon’s layout is far superior to eBay’s, in the sense that it allows buyers to quickly identify all sellers for a particular item and compare prices on one page. With eBay’s auction-based layout a buyer is forced to search through sometimes thousands of auctions and independently keep track of pricing and product information.

Additionally, Amazon’s fee structure is not based on insertions fees, but is based on a low monthly membership fee and final value fees that are only charged when an item is sold. This fee structure adds up to big profits. Accessory Export, LLC is currently receiving over 300 cell phone accessory orders per day from their Amazon Marketplace account and Accessory Export’s Co-Owner, William Land states, “It would take about 500 orders from eBay to equal the same profit we make on 300 orders via Amazon due to the reduced fees.”

Accessory Export’s newest venture http://www.AccessoryExportWholesale.com is a standalone Yahoo Store website, which Accessory Export plans to promote by utilizing search engine optimization techniques. Yahoo’s store fee structure is similar to that of Amazon, in the sense that they charge a monthly fee along with a small final value fees for all items sold.

This new site, http://www.AccessoryExportWholesale.com, is not scheduled to be completed and officially launch until July 1, 2007, yet the site is already receiving over 100 page views a day and about one order for every 200 page views. Accessory Export, LLC expects this site when complete to produce about 10,000 page views a day and several thousand orders a month.

For additional information about Accessory Export, LLC and their cell phone accessory products please contact Laura Land or visit one of their websites: http://www.AccessoryExport.com, http://www.3lcell.com, or http://www.AccessoryExportWholesale.com

Accessory Export, LLC is currently located in Riverside, CA and is still family owned and operated.
