Real Estate Buzz Box Brings the First Real Estate Podcasting Site Online with New Real Estate Podcast Platform

Real Estate Buzz Box Brings the First Real Estate Podcasting Site Online with New Real Estate Podcast Platform

Solana Beach, CA (PRWEB) July 18, 2006

Real Estate Buzz Box has launched the first complete real estate podcasting solution online. Real estate agents can now easily create Audio & Video Podcasts online with no special technical skills.

Real Estate Buzz Box co-founders, Rodney Rumford, Kristen Veraldi and John Helmering started the discussions for creating an industry specific podcasting platform back in the winter of 2005. The Real Estate Buzz Box Podcasting platform was developed specifically for the real estate industry and was based upon proven podcasting technology that Rumford had previously developed at Podblaze.com.

This cutting edge online Real Estate Podcasting software tool will allow real estate professionals to integrate high-quality audio, video and XML-based platforms into a web marketing plan, for an audience that is rapidly expecting more from their newly broadband-enabled connections to the online world. Podcasts can be seen on user’s desktops, or on their iPod or their TREO Cell Phone.

“Real Estate Agents and Brokers are looking at how to embrace their target market and our real estate podcasting platform gives them the most robust real estate specific tools that they need,” says Rodney Rumford. “Static websites just don’t cut it in the new online world; clients want information that is value added, and helpful to them in their real estate purchasing, listing and sales cycle. Real Estate Buzz Box makes that happen through our industry leading real estate podcasting technology platform.”

“New trends in the real estate market are dictating that agents and brokers need to embrace this podcasting technology or risk get left behind by the more marketing savvy realtors. Agents and brokers stand to benefit tremendously by embracing Blogging, and Audio & Video Podcasting sooner rather than later,” adds John Helmering.

“Podcasting in the real estate industry is a really exciting development; Realtors can use podcasting for a whole host of lead generation, communication, branding, sales and marketing purposes. We will become the definitive platform for all real estate podcasts in the very near future as we have built the most robust platform that includes reporting, SEO benefits and true ease of use. We also have a keen eye to other emerging technologies and will incorporate them when appropriate so that real estate podcasts will deliver maximum ROI to our clients,” states Rumford.

He also said, “I happened to publish the very first podcasting whitepaper on the internet in early 2005 and I have been very involved in technology development around podcasting and how business can use this technology for great advantage. I saw a burning need for an easy to use platform that caters to the specific requirements of the real estate industry, and that is what we created with Real Estate Buzz Box.”

Real Estate Buzz Box was also designed to allow users of the real estate blogsites platform to easily integrate their podcasts right into their blogsite. “We thought it made total sense to leverage Blogsites highly valuable Blogging technology so that users of both technologies could have the best of both worlds and extract maximum value. Real Estate Buzz Box also delivers additional online search visibility and should be used to increase a real estate agents online presence within the search engines,” said Kristen Veraldi.

The rules of real estate marketing have changed drastically for the real estate professionals in the past 12 months. Agents can get up to speed quickly with these new real estate 2.0 technologies by talking to the professionals at Real Estate Buzz Box. Real Estate Buzz Box is a Sister Company to Real Estate Blogsites who is a Star Power Certified Vendor and they will be at the Star Power NYC conference this week.

Aircraft Technology Made Available to the Hot Rod and Muscle Car Alike

Aircraft Technology Made Available to the Hot Rod and Muscle Car Alike

(PRWEB) October 25, 2004

Wire Concepts (http://www.WireConcepts.com) releases its new wiring harness, intended for small and big block Chevrolet, which guarantees to end starter wire meltdown when properly installed.

The first of its kind, the Starter Wire Mini-Harness incorporates aircraft technology by using a Teflon-insulated nickel alloy core surrounded by a silicone impregnated fiberglass braid. The final touch is a virtually indestructible stainless steel braided outer layer that offers an exciting new look for engine wiring. This same technology is incorporated on helicopter jet engines and other aeronautic applications. Wire Concepts is the first to offer this state of the art technology to the auto industry.

OEM (original equipment manufacturer) wire harnesses, made of simple copper wire and basic insulation, are not resistant to intense header heat. When meltdown occurs starter wires may experience an electrical short, termination of starter wire function, and in worse case scenarios causing fire and extensive damage to the wire harness and car. The Starter Wire Mini-Harness by Wire Concepts is designed to withstand heat temperatures up to 1,000 degrees, making it the most durable harness on the automotive market. Aftermarket harnesses supplied through current manufacturers, such as Painless Performance Products, cannot match the quality of this new wiring harness from Wire Concepts.

The Wire Concepts wire harness offers an advantage in competition settings. By simply unplugging the Wire Concepts harness, quick removal of the starter is possible thereby shortening engine removal time. As an upgrade to stock applications in which the starter wires are extremely difficult to remove, this harness makes future removal and installation dramatically more efficient.

Future plans for Wire Concepts include offering custom wire applications as well as expanding their line by offering complete wiring harnesses for hot rods and stock vehicles of all makes and models. Currently the harness from Wire Concepts may be adapted for most applications with use of the Universal Kit in which connectors may be applied to individual project needs.

The price is $ 39.95. Contact: Wire Concepts, Inc., P.O. Box 416, Black Canyon City, AZ 85324, 623/332-5700, http://www.WireConcepts.com

ICAN Accepts Seat on EEF’s – EPA Advisory Group on IAQ Management

Boise, ID (PRWEB) August 27, 2004

The International Custodial Advisors Network, Inc. (ICAN) is pleased to announce the appointment of its Executive Director Allen Rathey to the Environmental Education Foundation’s Advisory Group on Indoor Air Quality, convened under a sole source contract by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The non-profit Environmental Education Foundation (EEF) is the world’s largest environmental charity focusing on environmental, health and safety issues, with 5500-members worldwide.

According to Rathey, “Because of the Environmental Education Foundation’s recognition from the insurance and lending communities for their water intrusion and mold management program, they have now been contracted by the EPA to expand this program to include additional IAQ related items.

“This expanded program will include the use of the EPA’s IAQ Building Education and Assessment Model (I-BEAM) software as an anchor for a total IAQ management program. ICAN will work with the EEF and other industry partners to refine, rework and promote EPA’s IAQ Guidelines to establish best IAQ practices and facilitate implementation of those practices by stakeholders, including insurance companies, financial institutions, and facilities in general. ICAN will be assisting with the process by being a resource for cleaning-related IAQ issues, document review, two-way communication and industry/marketing outreach.

“We will look to ICAN for guidance and recommendations on the full range of cleaning industry issues that will assist the EEF and EPA in evaluation and refinement of the EPA’s I-BEAM software, EPA’s draft IAQ Green Building Guidance, and the EEF’s Operations & Maintenance Plan and Training Module,” said Troy Johnson, Executive Director of the EEF.

“EEF believes ICAN has the unique ability to provide input and create awareness and credibility for EPA IAQ Guidelines and the EEF O&M Plan within the cleaning industry,” he continued.

“ICAN recommends that all facilities have an effective IAQ Operations and Maintenance plan in place,” said ICAN President Jim Harris, Sr. “We strongly believe in fostering education and promoting widespread adoption of IAQ best practices within the cleaning industry, and look forward to working with the EEF in its efforts to further develop and disseminate practical guidelines and implementation strategies.”

The overall purpose of this contract is to expand on what the EEF has accomplished to date by including more of the major players in the building design/construction and property management industry, with a focus on major insurance and financial institutions, to gain a wider acceptance of the EEF program, including the EPA’s I-Beam software and certain other EPA indoor environmental quality guidance, and to use this guidance as a basis for managing indoor environmental quality risks while protecting public health and lowering the risk associated with indoor pollution underwriting, as well as for asset-protection purposes.

ICAN joins ARCS Commercial Mortgage Co. L.P., the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), Cleaning Management Institute (CMI), EMSL Analytical, Environmental Risk Resources Association, Environmental Hazards Management Institute (EHMI), HUD-Healthy Home Division, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Indoor Environment Department), The National Indoor Air Quality Institute, LLC, Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (PETE), PNC Multi-family Capital and other organizations that support IAQ best practices, in working with the EEF’s EPA IAQ Advisory Group.

The International Custodial Advisors Network, Inc. (ICAN) is a non-profit association comprised of industry consultants and other educators with a wide range of expertise in building management, indoor environmental quality and service disciplines.

ICAN’s goal is to promote, strengthen and enhance respect for the cleaning industry while promoting the interests of ICAN participants through shared resources, expertise, talents, and contacts.

As part of ICAN’s mission to enhance the public perception of the cleaning industry, ICAN will engage in media outreach to show the direct correlation between cleaning and quality of life and health.

StopDrinkingAdvice.org Offers Much Needed Advice To Help People Stop Drinking

StopDrinkingAdvice.org Offers Much Needed Advice To Help People Stop Drinking

(PRWEB) October 31, 2006

StopDrinkingAdvice.org Offers Much Needed Advice To Help People Stop Drinking.

At least 16% of Americans have made a serious effort to stop drinking and according to a Gallup Poll conducted in 2000 more than a third of Americans surveyed admitted that drinking had caused problems in their families and 16% indicated they had made a serious effort to stop drinking. This was up from 15% in a 1999 survey who said that had tried to stop drinking. StopDrinkingAdvice.org is a new web site dedicated to providing helpful information to people who are ready to stop drinking.

Has alcohol consumption increased over the years? It appears so.

The statistics indicate that Americans are drinking in greater quantity and more frequently than in recent years while the highest incidence of drinking was in 1970 when approximately 69% reported drinking on a regular basis.

The biggest concern has to do with how alcohol consumption is affecting people’s lives and their families. According to Ed Philips of http://www.stopdrinkingadvice.org when drinking starts to cause personal and family problems it is a sure sign of a drinking problem.

It is not easy to stop drinking and many with alcohol addiction just don’t know where to start. Ed Philips says, It is important that anyone who wants to stop drinking develop a plan that includes the support of family and friends and in many cases their physician. This support system can mean the difference between successfully quitting and falling back into drinking.

It may even be necessary for some people to get professional help. While some can successfully stop drinking alone others need medical help to deal with the withdrawal symptoms associated with alcohol addiction, says Ed Philips.
